Copia Luxury Eco Cabins

Hi everyone and Happy November!

Where has this year gone?

Anyways, this past week Bradyn and I had the pleasure of spending the night at Copia Eco Lodges. My new favorite romantic getaway!

DJI_0025We arrived and met the lovely Lucas Steyn, the owner. He explained us everything about the cabin and how it’s solar powered. Electricity is very limited but that’s what makes it better! You really don’t need electricity when you have a inside fire, a braai outside and a hot tub powered by wood.IMGL2948The cabin has fresh eggs and fresh rusks waiting for you, but not only that.. There’s granola, wood, mint fresh water & lots of herbs for your dinner.  Lucas and his lovely girlfriend thought of everything. From the decor to the little details. Everything was perfect.IMGL2946 IMGL2951 IMGL2968 IMGL2971We made some gins and chilled in the hot tub the whole afternoon. It couldn’t have been more perfect, it was raining and there was no noise. Just us.

Without us even noticing it was dinner time. Bradyn took care of the braai while I made us some salad. We decided not to use electricity at all and just make use of the solar and oil lanterns. We ate looking at the most beautiful view. Later that night we saw a crazy thunder storm through our bedroom door.. I never experienced something  like that. It was beautiful.IMGL2982 IMGL2995IMGL3028 IMGL3019 IMGL3038 IMGL3075IMGL3082 IMGL3080In the morning we made an amazing breakfast with the fresh eggs and granola together with great coffee..
