Another day in the mother city, another great discovery. Cape Town always has a new coffee shop/restaurant and they’re always so lovely.
Today, I discovered: Melissa’s Mantra Cafe. We all know Melissa’s very well and their signature chairs, but this time they completely surprise me with the most beautiful views. This cafe is situated on Victoria road, Camps Bay. The front of the restaurant is all in glass which looks over the beautiful ocean and camps bay beach. It’s amazing!
The food is incredible as well but my favourite thing on the menu is their scones. (Since I’ve been to the country side in England, I can’t really eat bad scones – It makes me sad hahaha) A real bonus to the menu is that they stock Duchess (Virgin G&T’s with NO SUGAR!). The prices are amazing considering the location. My meal as you see in the photos: Coffee: R25, Duchess: R30 & Scones: R44 with cheese butter jam & cheese. You would pay exactly the same in the Melissa’s Waterfront where your view is basically girls shopping they way in Cotton on. (I’m so happy I can eat my scones without that!!!)Try it out and tell me what you think in the comments.
