A few days ago I went to Twigs with Beans! Let me tell you guys about my experience…
Twigs is special because it belongs to the village and it’s a community spot.
We parked outside Twigs and we were instantly in love. The white walls with the little chalkboard were definitely very inviting.
We were welcomed with a big smile and the incredible smell of fresh croissants!
Unfortunately we weren’t very hungry and we didn’t eat anything, but UAU, those breakfasts looked and smelled amazing!
We decided to have a coffee (AND YES, THEY HAVE A LOYALTY CARD) and a chai latte… I must say, the coffee was very good, but, I finally found the best Chai Latte in the Western Cape. I will even bet R200 on it!
I asked two things to Twigs with Beans:
- Why the name ‘Twigs and Beans’?
Twigs with Beans was founded as a plant nursery called Twigs, it then grew into a nursery and coffee shop and when the current owners took over they got rid of all the plants and now trade as a coffee shop.
- What makes Twigs and Beans so special?
Twigs is special because it belongs to the Village, its a community spot, just the way they like it, it’s a got a heart and makes a GOOD cup of coffee and pretty amazing toasted bacon/cheese/egg/mushroom and cheese Croissants.
Well, I definitely felt at home and I felt that everyone in the coffee shop was family. Even your furry friends are allowed to be cozy inside having a glass of water while you enjoy your breakfast. The prices were very good so I am definitely including Twigs with Beans in my – Low Budget but amazing book.
